This wee pup is the offspring of Willie the wiener dog. When I made Willie a year ago I gave one to my 96 year old friend Klara. She had owned a tan wiener dog (Bella) when she came to Canada years ago. Willie was a hit.. but not only with Klara. Her two year old grandson also thought he was just his style and went home with Willie in his hip pocket. Klara was heart broken and I heard many times this year that she missed her Bella. So, I decided to make her another one. BUT I thought if I made it a tiny pup and attached a fridge magnet the wee one would not be able to reach the pup. Plus Klara will see her friend every time she goes to the fridge.
Willies Pup is an easy knit and is quick to knit. He needs only 50-55m of fingering yarn and a bit of stuffing. The face is embroidered on and the fridge magnet is hot glued to one side.
