The whole jacket for newborn babies is knitted in one piece in garter stitch, i.e. no purls needed. One row of backwards single crochet added around all the edges (tutorial links included). Easy fitting - no Buttons, therefore it grows with the Baby.

325 m (80 g) Merino 200 Bébé from Lang:
1 skein/Knäuel = 50 g = 203 m (1.76 ounces = 222 yards).
3 mm circular needle/Rundnadel
3 mm crochet needle/Häkelnadel

Das ganze Schlüttli für Neugeborene wird in Rippen gestrickt, d.h. es gibt keine linken Maschen. Rundum wird eine Reihe fester Maschen rückwärts gehäkelt (Links zu Anleitung aufgeführt). Keine Knöpfe - deshalb passt es perfekt und wächst mit dem Baby.
