This is a simple and fun arugami style pattern. It is quick but the result is very rewarding.

I used yarn I had in my stash but any medium weight yarn would be fine. If you use a different weight you will probably have to adjust hook size to compensate. With the hook size and yarn weight I used the ornament is approximately 4.5 cm wide x 7.5 cm high (not including yarn loop for hanging). Size may vary depending on your tension.
