This easy-to-make pattern produces an easy-to-grab first toy for babies.

Worked in a continuous spiral of single crochets from tail to head, this pattern is meant to be personalized. When using up scrap yarn from your stash, be creative!

Two size options are given. No standard pattern gauge is required, but make sure the crocheted fabric is dense enough to hold in the stuffing.

One 10 inch caterpillar uses approximately 30 grams of worsted weight yarn.
