This is a free YouTube tutorial for Baby’s Owl Hat pattern found on my channel BogartKnits on YouTube.
This pattern is a fun project as we come into fall.

The project uses a 5.0 mm crochet hook and a sport weight cotton yarn.

Cotton yarn is recommended for the top portion of the hat because cotton is cool on a baby’s head and the weight of cotton works out nicely for the overall look of the owl hat.

Acrylic yarn is recommended for the band of the toque to avoid a baby having an allergic reaction from woolly type yarns, babies have sensitive skin!
