BABYSTRIPESWEATER

The Babystripesweater is a cute sweater that is knitted top down with raglan increases. There are two options to work this sweater. Either in rows to the end of the button band, which is worked on one shoulder instead of the raglan stitches, or from the beginning in rounds and without a fastening. Especially for the smaller sizes I recommend to work the button band option to make changing easier and more comfortable for you and your baby.

Other than that, it’s a straight shaped sweater with stripe details and edges in ribbing. It has a crew neck that is shaped with short rows and for all of you, who love twinning - with this sweater your baby is ready to match you and your Basicstripesweater.

Tip: Especially for the larger sizes it’s recommended to use Önling No2 to get a light weighted sweater. A sweater with 350g Önling No14 is a huge weight for a 3-year-old.

3 (3) 3 (3) 4 (4) 4 buttons, size: approx. 1 cm

Possibly an elastic thread, Lyocell hasn’t the same elasticity as wool, so it can be useful to sew an elastic thread in the edge of the neckline.

Recommended Needles
Circular needles 3.5 mm (80 cm)
Double pointed needles 3.5 mm

Note: I’m a very tight knitter, maybe you’ll need a smaller needle size. Please knit a swatch flat, in stockinette stitch, to check gauge.

Gauge:
Stockinette stitch with 3.0 mm needles
