One skein of 33 yards is enough for the SIMPLE (no braids) version in the newborn size. Two skeins (66 yards) makes the super cute braided newborn hat.

The other sizes require 66 yards for a hat without braids, or 99 yards for the hat with braids.

Simple instructions for making the rosette are included.
