Nothing says “school” more than a wool skirt (well, here in Canada at least!) This easy pattern is knit top-down and in the round with a little waist shaping. A full skirt appeals to twirling little girls and makes for some care-free knitting. The waist folds over to create a casing for elastic and the hem is stitched in place to give the skirt weight.
