Welcome to your new favorite plushie pattern! Whether you’re making a gift for your favorite gamer or you need a forest spirit companion of your own as you explore Hyrule, I’m sure you’re going to love watching this pattern come together. This is an excellent stash buster, and there is a lot of room for creativity with colors. You will need no more than 1/2 a skein of any color in this pattern. Additional materials include black felt, black sewing thread, sewing needle, and polyfil.
This pattern is classed as beginner plus, the shapes come together pretty easily, but you should know how to foundation row single crochet and foundation row double crochet. Alternatively, you can chain the same number of chains as foundation stitches and then crochet back across, but the this technique will really help achieve the right look for many parts of this pattern (and once I learned to do it, I never chained to start a piece ever again!). You will also need to know how to start with a magic ring, and there is some sewing (nothing complicated, do not let this discourage you!). Guides for these techniques are included.
