A simple to knit cap that uses an easy to memorize stitch pattern. It’s stretchy and although there isn’t a defined band, the lower portion of the hat is knit using a smaller needle size to make a snug fit.

The original pattern knit in grey heather was posted on Ravelry in January 2016.

This update:

• adds a small rolled stockinette edge at the base of the cap,

• increases the height of the hat by an inch,

• eliminates one of the decrease rounds in the top of the hat (resulting in a less “pointy” look),

• changes the suggested needles to smaller sizes, and

• shows how the pattern looks knit in a multi-color yarn.
