This pattern was the 2018 Wild West Knitting Retreat Knitting project which is hosted by the amazing Cherokee Park Ranch!

Backwards C, Lazy Days, is a colorwork hat inspired by one of my favorite places in this world. Not only did I create amazing friendships at Cherokee Park Ranch I witnessed other people make lifelong friendships, with the magic of Cherokee Park Ranch I have kept these friendships for over ten years! From the moment you walk onto CPR, you will feel the history of this stagecoach stop between Fort Collins and Laramie.

Backwards C, Lazy Days is knit in the round, with a provisional cast on, using stranded colorwork with long floats. After completing the hat, we will take out the provisional cast on and work the earflaps using short rows, then finish off the hat with an i-cord edging!
