This is created with Knit Picks Palette, two strands held together with as many as 5 balls attached at once. The finished size is approximately 2 feet long and very hug-able!

This is approximately an intermediate level pattern because of the three dimensional nature of the pattern and the slightly a-typical methods used to create them.

Special thanks to Evelyn (nanarector on Ravelry) for her help in editing and testing this pattern. She suggests also that the pattern could make just as cute an animal if simplified to one strand of one color worsted, skipping the stripes.
