This cowl is started with a provisional cast on and knitted in the round and finished with grafting the two ends together to form the cowl. No need to cut each color after knitting with it, just carry both yarns up the inside of the cowl to avoid all those ends! This pattern works with contrasting colors.

You can easily customize the size by making it smaller or using more yardage and making it longer, the size easily wraps around the neck twice to make a semi-snug fit.
