This pattern has not really been test knit. I needed a Christmas present for a friend, and wanted to make it special. That resulted in a terrifying amount of frogging and reknitting, which isn’t the easiest thing to do in mohair.

I don’t want to see this pattern, or knit it, or talk about it, ever again, so there will be no test knitting. But I still think it would be a shame not to give it to Ravelry, now that it’s done. So here it is! Enter at your own peril…

The name?

I have a very loyal test knitter, who with equal patience listened to my frustrations while working on this shawl. After one particularly frustrating frogging experience, which I expounded on at length in a perhaps somewhat peevish manner, she scolded the thing for making it so difficult for me, by uttering the now famous words: “BAD Fairy Princess!”.
