Sam has a splendid multi-coloured mohican. However, he wanted a hat for those ‘bad hair days’. The basic hat is knitted using a yarn I found whilst browsing the wool department in John Lewis in Cambridge. I wanted something almost skin-coloured and this is perfect. The mohican itself is knitted separately using silly yarns that I found in the bargain basket at Sew Creative in Cambridge.
