European badgers are very social animals. Unlike the American badgers, they are much less ornery and grumpy. They live together in dens and, believe it or not, they’re very clean animals. Not only is the badger the hard-working, trustworthy mascot of a very friendly Hogwarts House, but they are also an iconic woodland creature seen in many children’s stories and fables.

This is an Easy level pattern. Some previous amigurumi experience is recommended.

To use this pattern, you will need to know how to crochet in the round, change color, single crochet, increase, and decrease, as well as the Half-double crochet stitch and the slip stitch.
Small amount of embroidery with yarn is required for the nose, but a felt nose can be substituted.

You will need:
• Size G crochet hook
• Worsted weight yarn in black, white, gray, and dark gray (small amount for nose)
• 12 mm plastic safety eyes (the kind that click into place are preferred)
• Fiber-fil polyester stuffing
• Needle with a large eye

The pattern includes 4 pages of detailed instruction in English and photos of the finished product to guide you along. Finished product measures about 11” long and 6” tall, depending on the yarn used.
