Please note, there is no kit for this month’s pattern. I have suggested several other yarn options that will work well for this hat besides Brooklyn tweed at other price points. Please support your LYS this month as they need us more than ever right now!*

This month’s hat was an interesting twist of design inspiration. I picked out these three colors of Brooklyn Tweed Arbor because I just fell in love with the combo of these cream and pink hues. I knew it had to be perfect for one of the hats, I just didn’t know which one. I chose the stitch pattern and started knitting with a clear vision of what I was creating, but still not knowing which park it would represent. A gamble, I know. I knew I’d seen a picture before from a park that inspired this, but I just couldn’t remember which one. As the design came to life, I did another National Park google search, and images of the Badlands popped up with these gorgeous striated pink hues. There it was…and here it is… Badlands. I’ve never been but it’s definitely on my list.
