This is a gender neutral pattern, suitable for girls or boys. A comfortable, baggy, lazy Saturday morning kind of clothing. The shirt slips over heads easily. The pants, which are knit top down in one piece, have a draw string at the waist for boys but that could be replaced by some thread elastic for girls.
It’s an easy knit, drop shoulder shirt and straight-legged pants.
It’s plain, but you can add patches or the logo of your favorite school. I worked the MIT logo, mostly because it was simple enough for my basic duplicate stitch skills. You get to choose the decoration.
