BAHI Scarf
BAHI is an asymmetrical geometric pattern scarf, hand-crocheted in yak (natural dark brown colour) and silk-camel (natural light colour): this extraordinary design wears beautifully as a shawl, neck scarf or cowl. The drape and softness of yak and the blend of silk and camel is simply incomparable.
YARN: Tibetan Cloud Fingering by Lotus Yarns (100 grams) in heather green colour
Silk-Camel Lace by Lotus Yarns (50 grams) in natural light colour
HOOK: 4mm bamboo hook
Scarf Dimensions: 27” x 50” (68.5cm x 127cm)
BAHI is crocheted in two strands of fingering weight yak held together with the stripe and lighter section of the scarf crocheted in four strands of silk-camel lace held together. You may use two colours of single strand of worsted weight yak for the entire scarf.
A 4mm bamboo hook is used. Choose a large hook and work in a relaxed manner, not tight, so as not to diminish the loft of the yarn.
