Difficulty: Advanced beginner

The cardigan is worked from the bottom up, with the body in one piece, then divided at the armholes with back and front sections finished separately. Set-in sleeves are worked flat separately, then attached and seamed at armhole and underarm. The cardigan can be made in 4 sizes, and the knot stitch instruction is written.
The hat is worked in the round, using DPNs or circular needles, with a series of decreases to close the crown, then a short i-cord section to form the top knot.
Sizes: NB (0-3 months, 3-6 months, 6-12 months)

Materials:
4ply yarn: 50g 3 (3, 3, 4) balls e.g. Drops Flora (210m)
Needles: 3mm for rib plus 3.5mm, straight or circular for cardigan, DPN for hat.
