Baily Pullover
Baily is a classic knit pullover with a twist. The front and back piece are adorned by a cable pattern knitted sideways. The shoulder section is knitted in once piece, forming a squared neckline by garter stitches that join the front and back. The same cable pattern is echoed around the wrists, as contrast to the plain stockinet stitches.
This pullover is designed to have elegantly dropped shoulders, a feature common in the 80’s, and now has again become relevant in the Fall trends.
Use a fingering weight yarn and knit with double strands, or single strand of an aran weight yarn for the soft texture of this sweater.
