Baja Sunset is the fingering weight cousin of the Baja Sunrise Shawl (DK Weight) – inspired by sunrise and sunset over the ocean along the Baja peninsula. This pattern was the Tasty Tosh September ‘15 pattern of the month!

This version of the shawl has some slightly different construction features, including a slipped stitch border along the top edge and a larger border of garter stitch along the bottom edge to separate the wavy feather and fan lace from the body of the shawl. Knit your version in two complementary colors for a stunning shawl to warm your shoulders on cool days! For this version, I used Fresh Picked Huckleberries with Penumbra as the border color.
