This pattern was designed especially for the XCCRoadtripKAL hosted by hilori

Baker Lake is the geographic centre of Canada (although there is a bit of debate!) and seemed like the perfect theme for a Cross Canada Knitalong.

Baker Lake is worked cuff down with a cable panel down the front and back centre of the sock. the cable panels are connected by smaller lines of twisted and slipped stitches. The pattern uses a heel flap and gussets and ends with a rounded toe.

The pattern is graded for 3 circumferences and the foot length is customizable.

Pattern instructions are given for:
Narrow circumference (8 inch/ 20 centimetre)
Medium circumference (9 inch/ 22.9 centimetre)
Wide circumference (10 inch/ 25.4 centimetre)
Foot length is customizable

The Sample is knit using Hiloir’s Magical Yarnorium Done Gal 80% wool, 20% neps; 420 yards/ 384 metres per 4.1 ounce/ 115 gram skein; ‘ Viscerion’; 1 skein
