Know that this pattern doesn’t have sizes or a specific gauge! The instructions given will result in a slim fit, to make your piece roomier, add another repeat. Let your tension flow but make sure it isn’t extremely loose.
You’ll start making what would be the back and sides of the balaclava and then the front in a single piece.
The bottom part of the face opening is made last by rejoining your yarn, and finally you’ll need to sew it up.
You can make your starting chain longer or shorter depending on the fit you want your piece to have.

You’ll need Worsted #4 weight yarn, preferably soft acrylic or combed cotton. The black yarn I used is mercerized cotton, Circulo Brasil’s Amigurumi Maxi, 3 balls. The pink and grey ones are Silvia’s Clásica. This yarn is comparable in thickness to Red Heart’s Super Saver (you’ll need 1 ball of main color if you make 5 sections total, grab an extra ball if you make 6 sections and an additional contrasting color ball if you wish to make an inner part for your ears!).
