This is a customizable made-to-measure knitting machine pattern for a BALACLAVA with CROCHET RIBBING.

The pattern is written for a circular knitting machine (Addi King 46 pins or Sentro 48 pins).

The pattern includes instructions of how to make an Adult Size Medium, which fits a head circumference of 53 cm to 58 cm (21 in to 23 in), as well as the made-to-measure calculations to fit any size head, including child size.

This pattern requires some crochet skills for the ribbing (Yarn Over Slip Stitch). The ribbing technique is explained in the pattern.

Suggested yarn for this project is Weight 2 (Fine/Sport) or Weight 3 (DK/Worsted) or any yarn weight that runs smoothly on your machine.

Working Yarn yardage:
For Adult size balaclava ≈ 150 gr (330 m)
For Child size balaclava ≈ 100 gr (250 m)
