This is a FREE download! :) But if you can afford it, I’d appreciate if you’d get me a cuppa coffee in return. https://ko-fi.com/fransinger

Yogis and dancers of all kinds, rejoice! Wear these comfy socks whenever you need warm feet, but also a grip on the floor or your mat. Made with 3mm needles, and without the dreadful toe and heel sections normal socks have, the Balasana socks are quite the fast knit - while the cables running down both sides of the front keep it interesting.

If you have not delved in the art of cables before, don’t be afraid: I’ve included a step-by-step guide with photos!

You’ll get 4 pages full of everything you need to get going (except for the actual materials!):

  • Detailed row-by-row description of the cabled pattern, as well as a
  • pattern chart, and even a
  • step-by-step guide on how to do cables!

Why the name Balasana, you ask? Well. Firstly, I’ve created these for a dear friend, who is probably one of the best yoga teachers in the world! Second, if you’re anything like me, your neck probably gets quite tense during knitting. So every now and then, I stop - and go into the relaxing Balasana (child’s pose) this pattern is named after.
