A gold beak is knitted and attached to the bottom of what is the head, knitted in white.

The eagles head is knitted with single pointed needles, knitting the odd rows k1, p1. Then the even rows are knitted p1, k1, until required length is accomplished. This piece is sown on and filled with polyester fiber. Eyes are added and a few feathers are crocheted on the back part of the head.
