Bald Eagle, small
Most of the pattern is worked in Rounds (Rnd) instead of in back and forth Rows. Instructions for different stitches are included in pattern. Stitches include single crochet, half double crochet and popcorn stitch (for the claws). The alternate tail feather shown in the photo uses double and triple crochet.
You will need White, Dark Brown and Gold or Yellow #10 thread, along with fiber fill stuffing.
The size depends upon the needle size used and how tightly you crochet. Crocheting tightly makes sure that the stuffing doesn’t show through. You may also make this with yarn for a larger animal.
There are several sections that must be sewn together with an embroidery needle, including Body, Beak, Wings, Tail feather and Claws.
