This is a great project to use up left over yarns. Play around with different yarn weight and needle number to change the size of the whale but make sure to use a smaller needle size than the yarn recommends to get a gauge that is tight enough to hold the shape and the filling isn’t showing. For worsted weight I use needle 3.5 mm (US#4).
