Meet Betsy ballerina! This dainty little lady bends gracefully thanks to her slender and agile limbs. Her body and head are knitted in the round while the arms, legs and tutu are knitted flat. The pattern contains detailed instructions and photos to guide you through the hair and facial features. Plastic pellets may be added to the polyester filling to give the body extra weight (optional). Measuring approx. 12 cm (22cm including legs), this ballerina is knitted in DK yarn using 3mm needles (UK). I use needles 1 size smaller than the recommended needle size for my yarn as this produces a tighter knit which will keep its shape when stuffed.
