ABOUT:

The Ballerina Sweater is a classical and comfortable sweater with an appealing and fashionable lace pattern on the back.
The sweater is knitted top down starting with the upper front, sts. are then picked up for the left and right upper back. The lace is knitted separately and added to the sweater in the last step.

The sizes above are in accordance to European standard, with a circumference:

XS up to 86 cm
S up to 90 cm
M up to 95 cm
L up to 100 cm
XL up to 110 cm
XXL up to 120 cm

The mentioned measures above are considered to be the one of the model. The sweater has in addition a positive ease of 7 – 12 cm

SUGGESTED NEEDLES:

The sweater is knitted on needle size 4,0 mm and 3,0 mm for the ribbing and lace.

GAUGE:

18 sts x 29 rows = 10 x 10 cm

The first swatch is knitted in stockinette st with two strands held together one Como and one Premia from Lamana

And 18 sts x 27 rows = 10 x 10 cm

The second swatch is knitted in the lace pattern one strand of premia. The lace pattern can be found in the diagram attached at the end of the document.
