SIZE: ladies S=shoe size 5-6, M=7-8, L=9-10 directions for S appear first with the others following in brackets like these SM, L. The slippers are slightly smaller than the feet they are to fit so that they stretch to make a snug stay-on fit.
STITCHES: double stockinette see photos at end of pattern for proper wrap
GAUGE: 10 stitches/11 rows=4”. Gauge is quite important for this project. The yarn used is a bulky #5 yarn on the thick side of this size range. If you change yarns, choose another that has the same qualities.
