What’s not to love about ballet flats? Effortless style, and comfort all rolled into one.

My ballet flats pattern is designed for casual wear indoors, but can be just as easily adapted for wearing outside by using a more robust fiber for the base, such as jute.

The ballet flats look stylish using two colors, but also look sophisticated in a single color - the choice is yours.

Instructions are given for the following sizes:-

Small (sole length 7 ½ inches/19 cm)
Medium (sole length 8 ½ inches/21.5 cm)
Large (sole length 9 ½ inches/24 cm).

The ballet flats are made using two strands of light worsted (double knitting/8 ply) yarn together, and on average take less than two hours to make. You will need a 4 oz skein (100 g ball) in the main color and a 2 oz skein (50g ball) in the contrast color, and a size K / 10 ½ (6.5 mm) crochet hook to complete this pattern.

My patterns are written in plain English using standard US terms, which makes them easy to follow whether you are a newbie crocheter or you have many years of experience.
