Introductory price of $4, I have plans to add to the pattern with some leg warmers and a bun cover, when these items get added, the price will increase, but past purchases will have the extra patterns added in at no extra charge.

This pattern was designed because I couldn’t find a simple ballet wrap with crisp, clean lines that appealed to me and aligned with my style of knitting.

I have designed this wrap with the ballerina in mind. It is knitted in DK or light worsted yarn at a 20 stitch gauge so as to be warm enough to keep the arms warmed up but not heavy enough to create bulk.

The tie doesn’t have to feed through any eyelets, and ties up at the side so that it can be tied by a lot of young dancers. My 6 year old was able to accomplish this; my 8 year old has no problems at all.

In the bigger sizes there is the option to create slim line sleeves for wear over a leotard without hindering warm up exercises.

This has been a staple in my daughter’s dance kit and many of the other dancers want one too. I hope your little dancer enjoys hers.
