This pattern has not been test knitted but it has been tech edited.
Balloon Drop Sleeves are designed to be both fun and practical. Truly! They may look beautifully frivolous (and are) but they also are a balance of warmth and ventilation.

The originals were knit in a very heavy weight yarn, and traditional sleeves would have given me a stuffy sweater that languished in the wardrobe. Woe!

So I designed these fabulous floaty beauties. They are easy to knit, and will work with a variety of designs as long as you knit the sleeves from the shoulder down. These instructions will work with any yarn weight and gauge typical of a sweater, and maybe more!
