Balls
The balls are knitted in the round using double-pointed needles or circular needles with magic loop. To help balls made with glitter yarn hold their shape, they are placed over a wool ball. Since glitter yarn is not completely opaque, it is important to choose the right color for the core.
A combination of wool and mohair creates a fluffy texture reminiscent of snow, making pretty snowballs.
One skein of each color is enough for a good handful of balls. Balls are also excellent scrap-yarn projects, as each ball uses only 1–9 g / 0.04-0.32 oz of wool per ball.
The pattern includes written instructions with charts and images for illustration.
