When I put these series of stitch patterns together, it made me think of the sea and sky. The herringbone and mosaic stitch patterns featured reminding me of waves in the ocean. Balmoral is a lovely beach near where I live and although it doesn’t have many waves being a harbour beach, the colour I used for my sample reminded me of the lovely pristine colour of the water there.
