Balmoral Poncho Tabard Knitting Pattern

This cosy tabard is such a cosy and easy item to knit up and will be worn for many years to come. It is a one size garment for adults with generous styling. It is knitted up with bulky/chunky yarn using 5.5mm and 6mm knitting needles. Circular needles are required to accommodate the number of stitches, but is knitted flat. It is constructed in 2 pieces and joined at the shoulder which can be done my 3 needle bind off or by seaming up. Buttons can be added to the sides or if preferred the sides can be left open.

Your finished work will measure 70cm long and width 100cm. It is a great garment for layering up and so comfortable to wear.
