Baltic Sweater
This sweater is worked top-down in 1x1 ribbing, Latvian braids, stranded colorwork and twisted 1x1 ribbing.
After casting on with MC yarn you will work German short rows for neck shaping, then a 10 cm circular yoke with some increases, before transitioning to CC and sleeves through a Latvian braid. Sleeves are established by picking up 2 sts from one knit st on each shoulder, then working increases for sleeves in a tree-shape. There will be only a few more increases at front and back. After sleeve separation you work another Latvian braid and then MC is resumed and used throughout the body. Sleeves are worked in CC ribbing until finishing with two Latvian braids and some colorwork to pay tribute to Baltic mittens.
Yardage is 53% MC (grey) and 47% CC (pink).
Testers rated pattern difficulty 4/10.
