Make a pair of fingerless mittens with a unique cable on them. Featured is a cable that is inspired by the antlers on a deer. These are great for keeping your hands warm on cool spring and fall days. Also makes a great birthday or Christmas gift.
Pattern includes chart and text explanation. Measurement are in US as well the metric system.
SKILL LEVEL: Intermediate
TECHNIQUES USED: cable knitting, working in the round, making a thumb gussett, and biding off in the round.
SUPPLIES NEEDED: Approx. 1.5 oz/43 g or 92 yds/85 m of worsted weight yarn (I used Berreco Ultra Alpaca), four double pointed needles – size US 8 (5mm) (or size to obtain gauge), and a cable needle
