The Bamboo Cake Scarf gets its name from the Bamboo stitch, which is a simple 2-row repeating pattern with great texture, and “Cake” yarns such as Bernat Pop! or Lion Brand Mandala.

This project is a quick and easy idea for one skein of cake yarn (or any other worsted weight yarn). The width and length are flexible, so can be easily adapted to your chosen yarn and preferences.

You’ll need US 9/5.5mm needles and one skein of yarn. Sample uses one skein of Bernat Pop! in Full Spectrum.
