A simple, in-the-round knitting, poncho done in Universal Yarn’s Bamboo Pop Sock, a bamboo and cotton blend with a touch of PBT polyester thread giving it a slight elasticity making it flow nicely. You knit this one from the top, slowly increasing and adding eyelet rows as you go. Once you finish the final eyelet round, you’ll work garter rounds to keep the edge flat and rounding the “pointiness” of the four increase lines. You can lengthen this poncho by continuing the work about the final eyelet rounds – be sure to purchase more yarn if you plan to lengthen!

Materials:
• Approx. 1000 yards of light sock yarn – sample used 2 skeins of Universal yarn’s Bamboo Pop Sock yarn (each skein approx. 492 yds) – 55% bamboo, 37% cotton, 8% PBT in “Fern”
• US #4 circulars (16-, 32-inch lengths)
• 5 or more Stitch markers (I prefer the locking stitch markers, moving as necessary)
• Tapestry needle to tuck in ends
