Bamboo Stalks
This super soft and warm hat is sure to make anyoneʼs noggin happy! The simple pattern is great for adding a little texture to make a tweed come alive.
Since alpaca makes such a stretchy fabric, the pattern intentionally knits it down a little bit. The particular yarn I used calls for a 7, but I used a 5.
You won’t need to knit the fabric down if using a plain wool or acrylic, so using a DK weight with its suggested needle size should do the trick.
