Bamboozle Cowl
I know how it is. You walk into a yarn shop and you see this amazing skein of yarn and you just HAVE to HAVE it. Once you get it home, you keep eyeing this amazing yarn as you look through your stash, but you are not quite sure what to make. Here’s a simple and quick pattern that shows of this yarn in all it’s glory.
For this pattern, you just need one skein of King Cole “Bamboozle” or Universal Yarn “Bamboo Bloom” (you’ll have a little bit left over). You can use a US Size 9 or US Size 10 circular (24 inch) needle for this project.
I recommend you wet block this item once your are done knitting. Soak your completed in cowl in lukewarm water for about 5 minutes and then gently press out the excess water. Next, lay the cowl on a thick, fluffy towel and shape it into a nice flat rectangle, and gently press some more with the towel to wick away the excess moisture. Allow to air dry and enjoy your beautiful cowl. Blocking in this manner is recommended so that the edges of the cowl will not roll, but it’s your cowl… do what you’d like.
And speaking of “like”… I bet your friends will want one after seeing your beautiful cowl.
Finished size before blocking: Approximately 6 1/2 inches wide inches x 37 inches around.
Finished size after blocking: Approximately 6 3/4 inches wide x 41 inches around.
