This chalk bag is nearly completely made up of half-double crochet. The shaping is incredibly easy to follow with simple increasing and decreasing of half-double crochet stitches. You can finish this little banana in a couple of hours and get out climbing!

Slip some paracord in the back for a belt or just set it down next to you on your bouldering pad - however you use this chalk bag, its bound to get some laughs.

MATERIALS

Worsted weight acrylic yarn, under 100 g of total yarn needed: Lion Brand’s Vanna’s Choice Yarn is an excellent yarn with many, many color options. The bright yellow base and peel uses under 50 g of yarn, the off white upper banana uses under 20 g of yarn, and you need a few yards of brown yarn. Size H (5 mm) crochet hook. ~1 yard of paracord.
