Banana Pie is made of motifs, which are joined as you go. A hexagon motif and its variations (partial and pentagon motifs) are used in this design to shape the garment without breaking the spectacular geometric pattern.

Materials:

  • Yarn: 100% linen by Lityarn, light fingering weight (3 ply), 656yd (600m) per 100g skein, 2 skeins total for all the sizes
  • Hook: US B (2.25mm)
  • Yarn needle to sew/weave in ends

Gauge:
Only one motif layout is provided for all the sizes. Change the size of the motifs by using thinner/thicker yarn or a smaller/larger hook size to make your top smaller or larger. If between sizes, opt for the larger size to achieve a relaxed fit.

The pattern has been professionally tech-edited. It contains both a chart and written out instructions.
