Banana skids is a sock inspired by my favorite candy. A yellow-brown chewy candy that I’m madly in
love with, well except licorice then, licorice comes first. But the sock came about when I was sitting in
bed with my 3.5 kg banana skids in bed (I didn’t eat them all, but I have a lot left) along with knitting
needles, yarn and my block of pens. When I looked closely at the candy and saw the yellow color that
faded into brown/grey and then looked at Järbo’s medium raggi banana print, it became obvious that a
sock should be created with the name banana skids!
