Easy and fun to make children’s cowl designed with and for someone fairly new to crochet in mind - some familiar stitches - double and treble crochet - and some new stitches to practise - Bobble, X, Mesh.

Worked flat in short rows and then seamed to finish.

This would also be fun for an older child learning to crochet to make something they can wear in the fun self striping yarn.

Of course if you adept at crochet you could whip through the pattern pretty quickly.
