I wanted to create a pattern that would use a honkin’ big skein of banana yarn. I started to create the bag and then decided it needed a cool shape. Since it was harvest time here in Maine I was seeing many interesting squash shapes and decided to go with it. Hence the Banana Squash Bag was created.
