This lace project can be worn as a bandeau bralette, a belt or as a loose cowl around the neck. This beautifully soft Blue-faced Leicester yarn wraps around the wearer and looks wonderful under other lacy knit garments or open weave tops.

Exact tension is not critical, in that the top is a free form garment and can be adjusted to requirements.

One size; however, the chart can be repeated until the desired length:

Four motifs form the pattern. Completing a total of 8 motifs yields a finished rectangle of 80cm, or 31½” by 19cm, or 7½” (pictured). The size pictured fits up to a 34”, or 85cm bust. Because the garment is laced, it is better to have a closer fit than for it to be too slack. Check tension, if after knitting one motif, work measures appreciably more/less than 10 cm in length you may have to adjust needle size and/or yarn requirements.
